Mav Viola was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA and moved to Los Angeles after college to pursue an MFA in screenwriting for Theater, Film and Television, as well as improv and sketch comedy writing at The Second City. As a comedian, Mav has headlined all over the country and featured for comics like Whitney Cummings and Margaret Cho, who she also performed alongside in Iliza Shlesinger’s Netflix film GOOD ON PAPER. Her television credits also include the FX series MAYANS MC, NBC’s A LITTLE LATE WITH LILLY SINGH, and Roku’s BUTCH PAL FOR THE STRAIGHT GAL. Her standup can be seen on the latest season of Comedy Central’s series FEATURING, and she can be seen live at her monthly Hollywood Improv show THE MAV AND DAYO SHOW.
